A few days ago, our UX-Republicans attended the 17th edition of UX-DAY. A whole day where all the UX-Republic collaborators meet to share around quality presentations, workshops, an exhibition (which is more or less unanimous) and a few drinks together in a cozy bar.

For this 17th meeting, we had the chance to receive Thierry Lienhardt who fascinated all of his audience, explaining as he says himself “to say hello”.Expressing yourself well is something you learn and above all it requires preparation. Whether through our gestures, our way of holding ourselves, or our respondent… Thierry showed us that it was above all necessary to prepare.

Thibaut, UX-Activist @UXRepublic made our UX-Republicans aware of ethical design and this question: “how can design save the world?”.
His presentation, based on strong personal experience, showed us that designers could also play an important role in ethical causes and issues, and in particular around raising awareness of them.

After a well-deserved lunch break, we all gathered around a workshop led by Yann Cadoret, co-founder @UXRepublic whose goal was to learn how to use the chrome inspector. We were thus in charge of correcting several voluntary errors that obviously had to be found and then corrected.
The exhibition
15:45 p.m.: Head to the Recreational Arts exhibition at the Cité de la Mode et du Design to discover the video game world of video games…
Our UX-Republicans were able to see more than 700 drawings, pencil sketches, watercolours, traditional sculptures, digital paintings… developed in the context of video games.
The end of the evening was spent around a few drinks in a bar as cute as it is warm!
