THEO GOSSELIN, Traveling photographer

“Leaving aimlessly: that's where the craziest things happen. »

Photos, trips, to Montreal, Los Angeles and Ireland. So many clichés and stories that mix. Théo tells us about his love for film photography. “The journey continues when you arrive home and you have to develop everything.” For four years he traveled with his friends, his partner, Maud Chalard in this world of photography. Among his shots we feel love, softness but also naturalness. Raw photographs. The bodies are naked, the light harsh, a perfect imperfection.

XTU, the inventor architects

"A facade that synthesizes and keeps the energy of the sun"

It is research, the fact of solving an equation, but above all it is Anouk Legendre and Nicolas Desmaziere: two architects who made the crazy bet to create biofacades in micro-algae. Elysia Chlorotica, a sea slug, the first discovered animal that can carry out photosynthesis thanks to the incorporation of chloroplasts in its organism. The buildings will be able to preserve the energy of the sun thanks to these algae grown directly on the walls of the latter. We imagine a living facade, because the evolution of biotechnology is increasingly important for the future.

“Will buildings made only with “living” materials see the light of day tomorrow? »

TYRSA, virtuoso of letters

Alexis, appropriates the universe of font. He works a lot by hand even if he finalizes his orders digitally. He has created many logos and works on different types of typography. He makes us discover his work in particular the 50 tattoos made to fight against hunger in the world. During a match, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got a temporary tattoo of 50 names of people who are also suffering from undernourishment. For this project, Alexis Taieb collaborated with Martin Schmetzer by proposing a font specific to each person and their stories. A real favorite.

BRUNO AVEILLAN, the enlightened director

Bruno, tells us about the different stages he went through to shoot the Cartier “The Odyssey” advertisement The preparation work is substantial, the team did not improvise. The idea is not only to have beautiful computer-generated images, but to mimic real elements as much as possible… The goal being to release emotion. It was necessary to touch the spectators and it is for this reason that the main protagonist is very real. This is a panther who really played in this short film despite the difficulties it caused. We had to adapt to her and she had to adapt to the real places, and to the film crew.

DIMITRI CHAMBLAS, dancer and choreographer

Dimitri explains to us what a gesture can correspond to, that of daily life such as stretching for example. It may seem natural and very simple but if we are really aware of it then we can start talking about choreography, body writing. Through an exercise where he invites a whole room to dance, we become aware of each gesture that we make. A wonderful moment of communion with oneself.

H5 STUDIO, Transdisciplinary creation

The jacks-of-all-trades are contacted by rapper Kanye West to launch his project on the Yeezy Boost sneaker designed by the rapper for Adidas. An unexpected collaboration then begins between singer Kanye West and the H5 studio. Kanye challenges the studio a lot because he doesn't want a brand that will die tomorrow, he chooses what he wants to do and how he wants to do it. For the studio, it's the opposite of a usual collaboration that allowed them to realize the power of digital.

ROMAN TARDY, the visual performer

“Knowledge is the ability to analyze information”

He creates devices and audio visual works that use space and sound. The idea is to push back the frame, to create not images but spaces. He made several projections in mapping and must take into account different parameters such as the wind which will modify the perception of the installation.

MATHIEU CESAR, the black and white expert

“What we reproach you for, cultivate it, it is you. »

Black and white is his universe and as he reminds us so well, the word “Photography” has Greek origins “photo” means light. Through the various portraits he made, we see very precisely that he draws with this light. It highlights fashion, armor, but especially women. His work as a director allows him to combine the two and to make commercials such as “Nike X PSG”

MATHIEU LEHANNEUR, enlightened director

“When I design something I want everyone to feel like an only child in the middle of a big family”

A designer, no doubt the one of tomorrow. Science and technology inspire him in all his creations. He likes to take design out of areas where it is expected too much. For example, he tells us about the creation of a “Tomorrow is another day” weather window for patients in palliative care.
Depending on the patient's request, he can see what the weather will be like tomorrow at any point on the globe. Tomorrow's weather may seem like such an insignificant thing, yet it is key information that keeps sufferers connected with the outside world.
