The art of convincing

A great idea or a great design are not enough

You still have half the way to go: convince your audience. To help you put your customers or your Product Owner in the pocket, I offer a selection of 3 videos that present different approaches to presentation. It's up to you to learn the best lessons and design your own!

#1 The methodical approach Steve Jobs in 2007

The first video that I want to share with you is the 2007 Apple Keynote where Steve Jobs presents an object that will revolutionize the world for the next few years.
It starts very strong, choosing not to announce three technological products but a single revolution: the iPhone. Jobs will demonstrate point by point that its competitors only offer complex and “dumb” telephones. The proposed solution comes from a technological “revolution” the 'multi-touch'. To say that today, we are in augmented reality with the iPhone XS/XR/XS Max…
I let you discover Mr Jobs in one of his best Keynotes.

#2 The emotional approach Don Draper and Kodak

The second video is from the series Mad Men which evokes the world of advertising in the 60s, through the life of Don Draper: Creative Director of one of the fashionable agencies in New York.
This video presents the response to Kodak's call for tenders to launch a novelty: the slide wheel.
For younger children, slides were a way of storing their photos and projecting them through machines of which Kodak was one of the leaders.
Don Draper will therefore use this data, and mix personal and professional life to support his concept...

The show approach How to sound smart in your TEDx Talk, Will Stephen

In this video, you will have zero arguments, zero theories but you will be able to observe crazy energy.
This presentation demonstrates the value of rhythm, silences and gestures to catch the eye.

So, ready to convince?
