Meetup JS-Star: TDD & BDD in JavaScript

On Thursday, April 12, Matthew Breton et soft had the pleasure of sharing with the community two development methodologies based on testing: T and the BDD in this new edition of the meetup JS-Star.
These methodologies aim to make our applications more maintainable, to help us in the idealization of the architecture of our Software but also to document our code, among others.

I opened the festivities myself with the “Tis Dtorn Ddevelopment in Javascript”, where I tell you about the difference between unit-testing and TDD, the definition of the methodology with a small demonstration, as well as its positive and negative points.

Our CTO, Matthew Breton, followed with the “Behavior Dtorn Ddevelopment in Javascript”, introducing the origins of this methodology and its relation to TDD. He also showed us how and why Product Owners/Business Analysts should be included in the BDD development loop. Finally, examples were provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the methodology by weighing the pros and cons.

If you missed this magnificent meetup rich in sharing (hey just that, yes!), or if you want to see it again, the replay is available on our Youtube channel:
At a next meetup JS-Star!
Enjoy!
