UX-Republic & JS-Republic Seminar 2016
After several months of impatience… This weekend, we all met for the seminar UX-Republic and JS-Republic 2016 ! Friday morning direction Nice airport for all our employees to join Club Med Opio for three full days!
On the program, many sports activities, all-you-can-eat buffet, tanning at the swimming pool (with some sunburn for some), rest and many many laughs and memories that we will not forget...
UX Foundations
The first day, we all attended in the amphitheater of Club Med, to the presentation of the UX Foundations.
Faced with rapid changes in the industry and organizations, UX agencies must reinvent their model and their way of working. They must also find ways to maintain their expertise and nurture their creativity. This is the mission of the UX foundations we invented at UX-Republic. Multidisciplinary and self-organized working groups, the foundations aim to identify strategic positioning axes, organize knowledge and disseminate knowledge within the company but also to the entire UX community via the social networks and our events.
The first “Foundations of UX” were thus born in different specialties and objectives:
- Design & creativity
- UX commerce
- creative technologies
- IoT and mobility
- UX methodologies
After the presentation of each foundation by its Master (Adrien, Quentin, Mickael, Estelle, Antoine), we were therefore able to choose the foundation that best aspired to our expectations and thus join and contribute with our skills and our motivation to the construction and to the development of these UX foundations.
Team spirit
This seminar was also an opportunity to meet all the UX-Republic collaborators and to get to know the JS-Republicans better. It's always a real breath of fresh air for us to be able to see each other again and share together… especially in such an idyllic setting as this one.
Saturday afternoon, in the heart of the woods of Club Med, we were able to experience the game “Capture the flag”: a game whose objective is to capture the flag of the opposing teams and bring it back to a dedicated camp.
Strategies, adrenaline, speed and team spirit were featured throughout the game! And fair play as we are, we congratulate (not without difficulty) the winning team 😉
A big thank you to the organizing team of this seminar (notably Isabelle and Agnès) which we will all remember!
